TBF Financial pursues payment in a businesslike and dignified way. When we acquire charge-offs, we send a letter to the obligors on the purchased accounts advising them that we own the accounts and inviting them to call us to work out a resolution. We do not send numerous letters, make phone calls or do anything else which may be considered to be harassment. We treat every obligor with respect and understanding for his financial situation, and we work with him to come to an intelligent resolution. If we cannot amicably resolve the account, we refer the account to our attorneys.
